Build the Pyramid Speed vs Strength: Which Should You Train?

Compare Speed, Strength, and capacity by the time they remove from your own delivery route instead of following a universal tier list.

Quick answer

Train Speed when walking between the quarry and pyramid is the largest part of a round trip. Favor Strength or capacity when your load is small enough that you make too many trips. If pickup and placement actions consume most of the time, test a batch or range upgrade before assuming either stat is the answer.

The word strength can mean different things in community discussions: a stat, a carry-capacity effect, or a general power increase. This page uses the live value shown by your game as the source of truth. Enter the actual blocks carried in the calculator. A screenshot of an old gym multiplier cannot replace the value in your current session.

A route-based decision

Long travel, short interactionsWalking dominatesSpeedEvery delivery gets shorter

How to run the comparison

First, choose a fixed target such as ten full loads or a visible number of pyramid blocks. Time the route from the first pickup action until the final placement. Then change one input: either the walk speed, capacity, pickup batch, or placement batch. Keep the same distance and target as much as the server allows. The percentage change in blocks per minute is more useful than a label like fast or strong.

Second, account for the shape of the route. Speed helps the travel term twice because you walk to the pyramid and return to the quarry. Capacity mainly changes how many loads the target requires; it may also increase interaction time if each large load still needs many actions. This is why a smaller but faster load can sometimes beat a larger load in a short route.

Formula & assumptions

Round-trip travel = 2 × one-way distance ÷ walk speed. Processing time = ceil(load ÷ pickup batch) × pickup time + ceil(load ÷ place batch) × place time. The estimate includes a return after every load, including the final partial load. It assumes a clear route, no boosts, no lag, and no server-wide placement delay. Replace the example values with a timed in-game observation.

QUICK ANSWERS

Speed vs Strength FAQ

Is Speed always the best stat?

No. Speed is best when travel dominates. Capacity or Strength can win when your load is small and you spend more time returning than walking each segment.

How do I compare gym training?

Record the value before and after the gym, then use the same route and target. Treat the gym effect as a scenario that may be temporary or server-dependent.

What if the server is crowded?

Mark the observation as crowded and retest later. Player traffic can change the time spent waiting or repositioning, which a simple calculator cannot know.
