Quick answer: buy the largest visible time saver
There is no defensible permanent order for every player because the useful upgrade depends on your route and the current store values. Start by timing one load. If pickup actions dominate, Bulk Pickup is the first candidate. If placement actions dominate, Bulk Place is the first candidate. If you spend more time walking between placements than interacting, Placement Range is worth testing. If travel dominates, return to Speed or capacity rather than buying a small interaction gain.
The names and general roles below are useful planning data, but exact level costs and batch values should be checked in the current upgrade panel. This page intentionally avoids turning a community observation into a permanent table. Enter the effect you can observe into the calculator and compare the scenario against your current route.
Observed upgrade roles
These entries preserve the questions the live panel must answer. Open the focused guide for the decision boundary.
A pickup-focused upgrade to test when pickup actions are taking more time than travel.
Reduce pickup actions
Blocks per pickup and level cost
A placement-focused upgrade to test when the build interaction is the slowest part of a load.
Reduce placement actions
Blocks per placement and range
A positioning option that can matter when walking between placements is larger than the placement action itself.
Reduce repositioning
Measured time saved per load
A safe upgrade order
Split your route into four times
Record travel, pickup, placement, and waiting or repositioning. The largest repeatable bucket is your candidate.
Observe the actual effect
Read the upgrade panel and write down the changed batch, range, or speed value. If the panel does not expose an effect, mark it unknown.
Model the new route
Use the scenario panel to compare blocks per minute and time to a fixed target. Include the live cost only after confirming it.
Retest before the next purchase
Run the same route after purchase. Keep a small gain if it improves comfort, but do not call it best without a measured boundary.
Compare an upgrade scenario
Enter the upgraded speed or capacity. For batch upgrades, change the pickup or placement batch inputs and compare the rate.
Pickup & placement timing
Defaults: one block per action, 0.25 seconds each. Open this section to use your measured values.

Round-trip travel = 2 × one-way distance ÷ walk speed. Processing time = ceil(load ÷ pickup batch) × pickup time + ceil(load ÷ place batch) × place time. The estimate includes a return after every load, including the final partial load. It assumes a clear route, no boosts, no lag, and no server-wide placement delay. Replace the example values with a timed in-game observation.
Upgrade FAQ
Is Bulk Pickup better than Bulk Place?
Only when pickup is the larger or more frequent cost in your measured route. If placement is slower, Bulk Place can save more time.
What about Placement Range?
Test it when you visibly walk between placements. If your character already places without repositioning, the range change may not improve blocks per minute.
Where are the exact prices?
The current upgrade panel is the price source. This guide leaves costs dynamic because the public evidence reviewed did not support a reliable permanent cost table.
